Care groups are LifeGroups with a focus on care. They offer support for people dealing with life issues such as grief, divorce, and recovery. They are generally short-term in duration.

Prayer Groups are LifeGroups that meet specifically for the purpose of prayer. The focus of that prayer can be around a shared life experience, such as parenting, or simply be intercessory prayer.
